Dog Adoption Event Brochure

This item uses digital design to create a playful design for an event brochure and challenge text layout. The page setup was a positive challenge to advance my typography skills. The information is from personal experience of owning many dogs.

With Adobe Illustrator I used the form of a cardboard box as the brochure and elements of dog prints as small details. The main influence for the brochure was the representation of abandoned pets in popular media. The brochure page setup was inspired by a study of various unique brochures. The reason for this was to make the viewer of the brochures feel sentimental and more inclined to adopt a dog. I used a cardboard box as the page layout to recall the use of boxes when animals are abandoned in popular media.

I enjoy making informational designs when I have personal experience. It adds more important information into the design. I plan to use my personal experiences in many future works that bring the opportunity.
