This body of work uses full digital illustration to investigate the themes of my memory of summer in the 2000’s.

With Procreate I used the forms made from a lava lamp and a person sitting on the beach. Influenced by indie/ pop-punk rock music and my personal memories from the summers of the 2000’s. These were the influences because the band’s music takes me back to my memories. I used lava lamp visuals on the poster to call back to their popularity in the 2000’s and the beach to call back to my memories of enjoying the summer.

My memories are always a huge source that I put into my work. I have used them in quite a few other works for the upcoming SHSU Senior show.
