Jeanne Moderno

Typeface Informational Booklet

This booklet purely uses Adobe InDesign to make an interesting booklet for the font Jeanne Moderno to investigate page layouts. There was also the challenge assigned to focus on page layout.

InDesign was used to manipulate text layout as well as the background visuals. The forms are basic shapes to make interesting patterns to collaborate with layouts. Influences include art from the Bauhaus movement. Bauhaus inspired me to work with minimal information to make interesting page designs. The Table of Contents page best shows how shapes can be used to enhance the layout of text as well as organize minimal information. This page breaks the books 6 chapters into a visually well organized and designed page.

Challenges are always good ways to help designers. I enjoy when they force me to grow out of a weakness. I enjoy adding challenges to future works as it helps in growing my skills.
